Just a quick question. I need a set of wipers for my Astra and I want to get a proper Bosch set the same as what is on it. They are 54 euro on halfords which is a bit of a joke. Anywhere online I could get them reasonable or where does everyone get there's. thanks for the help.

They are. Just checked micks garage there about 33 euro there. They are expensive but seem to be very good wipers.

If you want them in a hurry, dont go with mister auto. with Micksgarage you will have them next day.

I got the cheaper replacement for my golf and I find that its a bit squeaky sometimes and doesn't clear the window as well in places!

A lot of stuff in halfords is only cheap if you have a discount card. Lucky I have one

I get my flat aero blades from http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/

I'm using their own product and find them excellent.

I wasn't impressed with the Bosch Aero Twin, found that they progressively got noisy. Replaced them with a lesser, cheaper brand from ebay and so far I'm happier with them.

Got replacement wipers for the Alfa for €20 in my local motor factors. Think they were the Bosch brand too.

Thanks for all the help I'm going to try the aero twins this time and see how I get on. This is the first I've had to buy wiper and I thought what was on van was good so that's why I decide to replace it with them. I'm sure ill quickly learn what brands are good and what's not.

I went with MisterAuto a few times for blades. Usually to the door in 2 days and cheaper than Micks garage. Usually have deals on wipers too.

I stopped buying Bosch wipers - Valeo blades have been better to me.

Just a quick update got the wipers today so it took a week just in case anyone wanted to order with mister auto. As I didn't need them straight away the week waiting didn't other me. But if you needed parts in a hurry I assume micks garage would be faster
