Was researching a paper on a pdf document and my computer crashed and I got this when I tried opening it again.

"The was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired."

I had quite a bit underlined and lots of notes applied to various sections of the text.

Any idea of how to get my work back and get this fixed? Cheers
