    offer €120 collected tomorrow afternoon.
is the mag leaking like you mentioned in this thread?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33 clayshooterpl

€170 is the lowest I will go.
This is brand new and unused pistol (unwanted gift) and (although barely visible in the puicture) the mag is in some sort of wrapping.
The mag from the other post is a mag I used with my good-old Army 1911 (which I'm also selling).

sorry - €170 is the minimum I'll go. It is 2nd hand but it's brand new (no single shot has been fired and the box has only been opened to make a photo).
It's still at least 30 Euro cheaper than anything that has ever been available plus - you can't get it in Ireland now ;)

if you have not shot it how did you know the muzzle energy you posted it was, or indeed if it works ok?
it may be €30 cheaper but there is no warranty.

    anyway my offer stands.

    FPS - as per spec.
I don't know if it works indeed. I'm guessing a buyer will test it though...

Well.. It comes with a receipt (from Greece) so the warranty is in place (but I'm assuming the gun would have to be posted back to Greece).

    Anyway - €170 stands...

    or you

in line with the rules, the actual muzzle energy (fps, joule rating) of the device being sold must be posted.

thermo - sorry - used my brother's (damanloox) PC and didn't notice he was logged in...

Regarding FPS - I listed FPS - 280 as per manufacturer's spec. this is brand new pistol, not modified in any way so my guess manufacturer's spec applies.
I don't have any other way to check it.

ok well each device must be tested and the actual muzzle energy be listed in post no.1. testing can be done in either a retailer or airsoft site.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 33 clayshooterpl

Although I only hadf a quick look at the rules - I didn't notice that everything must be actually tested.
I bought a few airsoft guns and none of the sellers actually tested anything - why would they do that if the spec states the FPS/energy? How would they test it if the box is unopened?

manufacturers specs are not exact, they are more of a ball park figure. for this reason all devices sold here must be tested.

thermo... With all due respect... The rules of this forum only state that seller must list FPS/energy. Going even further:
If you are unsure about the energy rating of your Airsoft device, you should contact your nearest site or retailer and they can test it for you
I am sure the FPS I listed doesn't exceed the limit as I don't have any reason to think Tokyo Marui is wrong about their product. If the buyer wan'ts to take and test it - I don't mind.
I'm not going to test it because - as I mentioned many times before - the pistol is brand new and unused. Whether you want to buy it or not - it's your choice... But please do not force me to actually fire it/test it/do whatever else with it as the rules are pretty clear to me...

Thermo, perhaps you should let some other mod adjudicate on this? Are you not compromised as on the one hand, you are bidding on the gun and on the other hand, interpreting the rules of the forum as the mod?

I don't know either of you, and have no interest in this gun but as a neutral observer who was just flicking through the adverts section when I came across this thread, it "appears" as if you are almost coercing this guy into selling to you. You bid very low initially as you queried if this was a damaged mag from another thread. When the seller refused to reduce his price, you started to hit him with the rule book.

As for the seller, I can understand your conundrum in trying to avoid having the gun chrono'd as you are selling it as"new". However you said it was bought from Greece and therefore there may be concerns that it fires over the joule limit which would make it illegal in this country. You are incorrect that it cannot be bought in Ireland btw as Airsofteire have them in stock.

Like I said, I've no axe to grind here and I really don't care if Thermo does or does not buy this gun. But for appearances, would it make sense for another mod to look at this situation and make a ruling on it?

    interest withdrawn as;
    1) the seller cannot confirm the actual muzzle energy.
    2) for the price i would pay the extra €30 and have the warranty.
    3) the seller cannot confirm the pistol functions correctly.

<edit, i wish you good luck with your sale>

    No, they don't...
    1) the seller cannot confirm the actual muzzle energy.
Can you confirm engine horse power when buying a new car? Or perhaps you just read the spec? Do you really check every airsoft gun you're buying? Do airsofteire or justbbguns.ie or any other shop confirm every item (unpacking it and then selling as "used")? TM don't do market specific models - their products are exactly the same no matter who sells them.
    2) for the price i would pay the extra €30 and have the warranty.
And I'm ok with that. But I don't really need to know that. It's your choice.
    3) the seller cannot confirm the pistol functions correctly.
And the buyer is free to test it.

And now the topic is full of crap because one person (mod in this case) wanted to make sure nobody else will even look at it. Thank you very much. I'm done talking to thermo...

The pistol is still for sale. Anybody who is interested is free to contact me/inspect/test it. It's a beautiful piece (as any other TM product) and well worth the price.

Airsofteire do have a TM 1911 in stock. I had it in my hand last week but I bought a CZ75 CO2 pistol from them instead as it was half the price and might operate better in the cold weather. I do have a TM P226 and it's a quality gun.

Best of luck with your sale mate.

No, they don't. Unless "not in stock" means otherwise. You may have seen it last week but they don't have it in stock.
I guess I had enough and keep the pistol for myself. There's no point in trying to sell anything if the moderator wants to buy it cheap and does whatever it takes to make a mess out of the post. There's no point in listing anything here as some people act like kids - why even post anything if you're not interested in buying? Have you asked airsofteire today/have you checked their site? I did both and they don't have the pistol in stock.
Anyway - feel free to remove the post/do whatever you want. Have fun.

As a bonus I'll throw in KM 6.04 precission inner barrel. Still €170.
