So I ordered cyrcle pad pro with resident evil revalations.
Ofc zavii would not be zavii if they would not have had shipped them separate...
So I got my cyrcle pad today and poped battery in, but I have no idea how to set it up and even if it is working. Does it activates itself only in games that use it? As I don't see any option in 3ds settings on it.

And does zelda work with that cycle pad too?

CPP only works with Resident Evil, Kid Icuras, Monster Hunter and one or two other games.

When you start RE, the inferred will detect the CPP when the game starts up (give it a second), select ok. Failing that, just change the control settings in the Resy game.

CPP, only way to play that game. hurry up CPPxl!!!

EDIT: If the game is not detecting the Circle Pad Pro at all, maybe replace the battery. But the battery lasts for about 400/500 game play hours so should be alright if its new.

cheers. so i need to wait for damn RE to come now. a bit annoyingas i was looking forward playing it tonight. ah well.

btw monster hunter game will be out only next year? i played a bit on PS vita and quite liked it, but the controls were quite tits. :( ( due to manual assigning of d-pad on second thumbstick )

    http://www.giantbomb.com/circle-pad-pro-support/92-7175/games/

    • Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy
    • Dynasty Warriors VS
    • Kid Icarus: Uprising
    • Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance
    • Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater 3D
    • Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
    • Nano Assault
    • Resident Evil: Revelations
    • Samurai Warriors: Chronicles 2nd

Here's the games that use it. No Zelda unfortunately

Does **** all in Kid Icarus, unless you're left-handed and want control of your character's movements mapped to the right c-pad That game has a plethora of control configuration options, so I haven't explored them all, but you cannot aim your reticle with the right pad, which would have seemed the obvious use for it.

It's pretty much just good for Revelations and Monster Hunter. I'm not even sure the Western version of Ace Combat supports it, and there are no future titles announced that I'm aware of.

Yeah, to tell you the truth I'm left handed but preferred the default method to the Circle Pad Pro option, which was odd. Maybe I'm unknowingly ambidextrous, who knows.

It works brilliantly with Resi though.

well, i got my Resident evil game yesterday and i was wowed how damn good it feels and looks on something like 3ds.
so that pad works fine, but i prefer thumbsticks to those wheel yokes nintendo use. i noticed after 30min of playing my hands get ****ed though, it does not feel very ergonomic in hands.

Btw it is really annoying when you need a pen to do some stuff on touchscreen. you need to take out whole circle pad out to do that and reconect it again. they could have just done some space on that pad for pen. simple solution.
