2FM's Cormac Battle: Who wrote his Wikipedia page?!

Kerbdog, a 1990s band led by 2FM DJ Cormac Battle, are reforming to play their cult album On the Turn in The Academy soon. In preparation, I looked up Cormac Battle's Wikipedia page. It's rather bizarrely written!

At least his doesn't contain the phrase "beginning to frequently see action films to his eyes".

Cormac Battle, another failed musician on the radio. The Wiki page is no suprise, after all, he did get a mention in David Grohls book, at least he says so anyway.

Bump!!!! His slot on Sunday night on 2FM isnt exactly great either. I mean from a personal point of view, i'd like to hear more metal on his show, god knows, the amount of times i've texted in requesting the likes of Slayer, Sepultura,et all but you dont get to hear them , not even an acknowledgement from the texts you get sent in requesting that type of music. But you get the hear the likes of Kings of Leon and fecking Kaiser Chiefs , i know his show is titled "Rock Gods and Indie Anthems" but surely to god, theres no harm in pushing out the boat and playing some metal. Bring back John Kennys Metal Show, now that was great radio!!!!!!!

If you wanna hear metal then check out metal notes with ray McGowan on phantom. He plays loads of old school stuff and Irish metal.
He also posts in the rock/metal section on boards

Fairly sure its not a live show so your texts probably aren't even read.

His show is been axed sadly. You could try Marty Millers Dad Rock or Pat James on Nova.

There's The Moshpit on Dublin City FM, for hard rock and heavy metal. It's only a hour on Thursday nights from 9, but better than nowt.

Metal Notes is also getting the elbow with the recent restructuring at Phantom.
It is with a heavy heart that i have to confirm that Metal Notes will cease on March 10th. There has been an enormous restucturing within Phantom and almost all shows have been cancelled.
The last 17 years have been a blast and i want to thank you all for your support during this time.
    Keep it Metal !
    Razor ..

With all that restructuring taking place along a lot of the airways plus with our national broadcaster failing to acknowledge a "metal scene" or at least attempt to make some inlays into it, it'll get to the stage where there'll be no metal played at all on the radio and will just be reduced to internet juke box playings and random non entitys, sad times indeed :(

It already is by all intents and purposes. I doubt Metal Notes had a particularly large audience share either tbh.

Not sure what their current share is, but in 2007 Metal Notes apparently had the largest audience share of any show on Phantom. Obviously it's now 7 years later, but that was the state of things at that time.

I take it from all your replies to zombie threads you've just woken from a deep cryogenic freeze.
