    Hi folks,

I need alittle bit of help.I have a g and g gr16 carbine which came with a 4 battery two stick pack. I purchased a moe handguard for tis in the past few days bt when i fitted it and tried to connect the battery pack to fire off a fw bbs the handguard would not close properly. Is there any way round tis or do i have to return the handguard.

    Thanks in advance
    Patrick

Which battery pack do you have? Your description confused me a little :embarrassed:

It sounds like it may be a nunchuck style battery where you have the 8 cells split into two equal parts of four, each arranged in a straight line? Or is it a mini type where all 8 cells are joined together like a small brick?

On my own G&G/TopTech M4A1 Carbine, the Magpul MOE handguard went straight on and I had no issues putting batteries in. You just have to make sure that they're lying flat, that they're not going to be in the way of the handdguard's rretention lugs, and that the wires are all nestled away safely.

Turn the gun upside down, with the bottom piece of the handguard off. Connect up your battery and stuff all wires into the top part of the hadguard out of the way. Slot your battery in, placing one of the lines of cells in the gap between barrel and handguard on the right hand side, and the other on the barrel against the other piece of battery. Grab your lower piece of the handguard and gently place it into the handguard cap (piece of metal at the front sight), and align the retention lugs on the left side. Pull back on the delta ring and push in on the handguard. If you're feeling resistance on the battery try and (gently) shake it over to the other side until it fits snug as a bug.

It's difficult to explain, but easy to do. It's just about getting it into the right alignment. If you can't get it I'll try and knock together a video for you
