Anyone do an elective in the US?

    Hey I'm wondering if anyone here has done, or knows anyone who has done an elective in America in or after 4th Med?
    If so could you tell me where, what you needed to apply and how much it cost?
    Any info on this really would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey, Yes I know a couple of people who have done that...I don't think it's prohibitively expensive for the average medical student. I'm not sure of the USMLE situation however, people I know had step 1 done before going over. You might find a more comprehensive answer on newmediamedicine.
