    Hi lads,

looking for a quick response to this please :)

I've had my F2000 for a while and it's been sitting on the adverts section for ages with the semi not working, so thought I'd open it up and have a little look.
Now all the pieces are cleaned etc but what exactly do I have to do to fix the semi? something to do with the cut off isn't?

Since you already have it apart you may aswel file the cut off lever to a steeper angle, however re-seating the gearbox has always worked for me. You just make sure it's as far over to the right as possible. I'm not sure why exactly that is, but to be honest I never really questioned it.

Filing the cutoff lever does work, however I'm just reluctant to modify parts like that where there are simple maintenance solutions (such as re-seating the gearbox).
