car insurance claim....fire

    hi all, i recently had my car broke into and stuff was stolen and was set alight.... after someone from the insurance came out and took a statement and photos i received a txt saying to give give a key to vehical to tow truck and send other key and log book onto insurance company and that a engineer will be in touch to agree market value.... so another week later and after taking my car and giving them key and log book i now get a letter looking for driving licence history for me and named driver, garda pulse number, key, log book, nct before they process the claim. now my problem is they said one thig then sent the letter, i can get these things bar the named drivers driving history as that person is working abroad but it is a hassle as i have no car to get to garda station and tax office any ideas pleas so annoyed now...:mad:

    Tell them that. It should not effect the claim.

    i understand that but im just annoyed they said one thing (give your key to tow truck then send on log book and spare key and the engineer will agree the value) and now after that its (give us key, log book, nct, drivers historys, and garda pulse before we do anything)
