I had 2 cows abort a few weeks back so I got themselves and 3 others that never went back in calf tested for lepto and bvd. The two that lost their calves and 1 of the others tested positive for lepto and free from Bvd. Going vaccinating today for lepto and I had intended culling the positive ones but a lad was telling me last night there's no need to worry once their vaccinated and let them to the bill again. I didn't quite agree or am I wrong

afair you will have to inject them now and again in 6 weeks.... we do ours twice a year but some people get away with once

Not a culling offence. Ask your vet about the wisdom of a course of antibiotics to get rid of any carrier state in the two that aborted.

Might not be a bad idea to inject all cows at drying off to reduce the number of carriers and compliment the vaccine. Something to discuss.
