Does anyone see that Tracey McKee is looking away from the First Minister in the cutaway questions?Or does anyone care?
Never mind DVB T2, Mpeg 4,or HD,new technology, same old people.

Same goes for all tv. Great tech/picture quality. Scarce on quality content.

It's been like this for years, at least since the late 90s.

I guess UTV viewers can be thankful that the station even does regional programming any more. On most ITV stations it is now trimmed back to the 6:00pm news and little else is left.

    Thanks for that.
Don't get me wrong ,I make the comment out of great affection for the place, and particularly the people. They had,and perhaps still have, some of the best creative and technically brilliant crews, and journalists anywhere, anywhere.
Chris Moore is just today on the William Crawley radio Ulster programme.
But the suits are still at it.
The viewer ,watching the latest "Poetic" trailer ,could be forgiven for thinking that UTV actually Make Network Drama etc.
When years ago they wrote a cheque for the making of "The Irish RM"the walls of Havlock House had been festooned with production scenes from the sets.
    They are still at it.
Anyway I wish them all the very best for the Festive Season, and perhaps next year they may make programmes,as well as money.

Oh no, I wasn't referring to UTV, more to television in general.

UTV aren't really interested in television any more, they see their future in radio and internet. They have not hidden the fact that they would sell out to ITV if a deal was forthcoming.
