Wanting to know if anyone has organised their J1 without going through USIT, go for less etc.? And more importantly is it worth the effort? I hear these sites completely rip you off?!

Also anyone have a really good experience of a certain place that they have been? All opinions and experiences shared would be appreciated! :)

    Thanks

It's not possible. The U.S. dont let just anyone into the country to work. These companies act as your sponsor and vouch for you while you are in the U.S. they charge normal fees for their services. You don't always have to book flights through them, only to get the programme fee cancelled I think.

Have a read through this forum, there are hundreds of threads on specific places and peoples experiences.
