Roller doors

Has anyone used rollerdoors in sheds.
I saw a flyer in a hardware shop for
    http://www.autoroller.ie/

The flyer had calves in a shed with big roller shutters.

Are they any good? Has anyone used them? what are they like cost wise?

We have a wide opening where we reverse in the bales along a feeding passage. If they were sturdy enough, they'd be awful handy.

    Thanks for advice in advance.

I think the big problem is that any contact, from animal or machine results in damage which usually renders the door knackered..

we used this company for our garage its a quick installation, we only used the doors for sheds where machinery was put in not sure how they would fare against animals knocking up against them.

that said there is convex shape on the garage door from a all being kicked at it repeatedly (door used as goal aswell ha) so cant imagine they would hold up too well

Spotted nice folding doors on a hangar in Abbeyshrule I think.

I'd say they'd take more of a hammering than the roller doors and you have a nice little canopy to cover the feed passage right by the door.

Their rare enough so maybe there's some glaring reason why lads dont put them in?

I thought that myself. Cost maybe. I figured any animal would do fair damage to it.
    Thanks for the replies.
