Doing weights without gaining weight? Lean muscle vs bulk

For the last 6 weeks or so I've been doing a hell of a lot of cardio and finally got the diet that is sustainable and assisting me in the weight loss. I've gone from 116kg to 104.3kg in that time. I'm hoping to hit the 100kg mark.

When I get there I want to start doing weights with the goal of developing lean muscle not bulk.

    How do I approach this?

lift big weights - squat, deadlift, bench, chin up
    simple as

I wouldn't worry about lean muscle or bulking unless you're going to compete in bodybuilding

First of all, start weights now. There's no reason to wait until you are 100kg.

All muscle is lean. Adding muscle, means adding mass. Bulking is simply adding as much muscle as possible, sometimes without caring about fat. You won't bulk by accident.

Instead of describing it as adding lean muscle, bulk, toning, weight loss etc. Describing you end goal. once you get to 100kg, where do you want to be in 6 months?

    Defined and strong looking,
Still 100kg, but leaner - more muscle less fat,
Slightly heavier, adding a few kg of muscle only.

+/- a few hundred calories daily between them.
Weights program doesn't need to differ. As I said, start now with that part.
