    Hello guys,

I was just wondering does anyone have any idea of the kind of insurance rates an individual setting up a property (Auct/Val/Lett/Mgt) business would have to pay in the current climate for the above. I have two years experience & qualifications in the industry. Have tried calling a few insurance companies but they have yet to get back to me. Thanks in advance for any advice/help

Have you contacted your professional body as they are most likely to have affinity deals for their members with at least one insurer.

    cheers

go to professionalindemnityinsurance.ie and you can enter in your details and you'll get a quote straight away. I'm not linked to the company but have used them for PII insurance and have found them ok.

Thanks Capefear, I went on that website & its asking me what percentage of my overall income will be derived from the property business & what my turnover for the year will be. Questions I dont have answers for yet as it will be my first year trading.

Also it gave me the option of insuring myself up to seven different limits from 65k euro to 2.6m euro. What would be appropriate for this line of work in your opinion
