    Hi all,
I am having some minor but annoying issues with my netbook. It's an Asus 1225B, mostly happy with it. It's not speedy but it does the trick until I upgrade which will be soon. The problem I am having is with using Chrome. When I open a page, it will often take anywhere from a few seconds to a minute to load, and the page when loaded won't allow me to scroll. But when I minimize the screen then maximize it it will go back to normal. It is not a major issue but it is getting on my nerves now. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Do you have any extensions installed?

Easiest solutions might be to completely remove chrome and reinstall. Be sure to backup your bookmarks and such first.

If it only recently happenening it could be a extension causeing in creased ram usage and takeing your on a netbook I expect you don't have much ram to play with anyway. Maybe try firefox, chrome uses about 100mb of ram per page and sometimes a lot more. Watch your task manager next time you run chrome and see if your running near full capacity on your ram as that could be the issue. As already said ,try to disable any extensions and re-install chrome if that doesn't work.

    Hope that helped

Thanks for the replies. I am running Adblock as an extension, no others at the moment. I will give Firefox a try to see how they compare.
