very sad to see irelands performances in relays over last few years. combination of lack of interest from management ,no team spirit and athletes not bothered. i think things need a good shake up, we need a leader to capatalize on medal opportunities with a commitment from top brass and athletes with a plan going forward.starting with euro indoors in march 2013 a great chance for a mens 4x4 team to medal.with a commitment from big guns gillick, gregan and getting hession to move up and chris russell ,brian murphy and maybe david hynes to form a panel.these athletes have no chance of achievement in world champs later in season so euro indoors should be focus for season.as usual nothing will change and gillick will be talking about big comeback pass up euro indoor medals to focus on worlds and get knocked out in heats, gregan same might make second round worlds, hession wont move up if makes worlds first round exit the other guys will knock around minor meets in europe.think when they reflect on 2013 season in sept /octb next year medalless again a euro indoor relay silver or bronze in march would be gladly accepted. well wait and see
