    Hey guys,

I am currently driving a ford mondeo mk3 tddi 2.o. I have had her for two years now and would like to change one.

I am quite interested in the Merc Benz w202 c180. I just wonder how thirsty is this model comparing to my old mondeo?

    Thanks

    Auto or manual merc?

Your mondeo is described as a tdci90 on that site

The merc is more economical but the reality is ~30mpg in the Merc

I have seen this one. I dont believe this merc can get 58mpg... But it looks nice. May give him/her a call.

26 should be the worst you would get with mixed driving and a heavy right foot. 30 > 34 mpg driving fairly conservatively, the engine is a bit more enjoyable than the ford diesel.

A trip up a decent motorway should have it pushing 35 (at GPS speed limit) and a crawl through town down to 24.

Not even on a downhill run with your foot off the gas. It's not registered here so add a minimum of €640 to the sale price, you'd really need to be getting it for free considering it'll need to be NCT'd straight after registering it and god knows what that'll show up. The guy is a dreamer and on top of his ludicrous MPG claims, he does that stupid, annoying, naming of every car his limited intelect can recall at the bottom of the add to spam other peoples searches with his add.
