    Yo !

For the last 3 years I've stopped working out , exercising and playing sports
Basically 6th year , repeating the leaving and 1st year in college , basically studying , getting stoned , drinking playing xbox ect
I'd gone from a really lean 12.5 stone up to 15 reckon I'm about 25% bodyfat which is a real blow to my self esteem obviously

So yeah time to change , I've flat out stopped getting high and drinking , no kebabs and more time spent studying
Now the only thing to get in order is my fitness
In the idea world I'd go back playing rugby straight away , but I'd prefer to wait and work in the gym before I start doing sports

I'd prob class myself as a Mesomorphic Endomorph , really broad shoulders used be very thin up until i was about 17 but now I've put on all my weight on my chest and my hips , which is unusual for a guy i thought ?

Despite this I've remained pretty strong especially in the upper body shoulders area and upper legs since I still do a lot of work on the farm ect despite being a massive lazy stoner student

What I want to know is what sort of gym plan I should make for Monday - Friday , i'm home at weekends, and how much cardio should I be doing ? Obviously I'd prefer to build than spend my time running as I'm relatively unfit at the moment , prob can run 2km before wheezing to a stop

I don't have a desired weight or anything but I do want to aim to get my BF down below 15 % with in about 6/7 months

Cheers for any help and advice on whether you think that progress would be achievable is more than welcome !

Great to hear you're fully committed to the regime and kicking to booze and pot, its going to really help
Hard work is the only way you can achieve your goals but if you alter lots of aspects of your life, you should be in great shape soon.
First, keep eating. As long as its good quality lean food, not too much junk, you need to keep up your food intake as this will fuel you. Workout wise, you sound like you have good core strength so hit the gym, get a couple of routines from the PT there, who'll give you advice for free, and maintain that strength. Weight loss wise, tabata training is great. Its interval training on a bike or treadmill, high intensity for a short time which is alot more affective for weight loss than long jogs or cycles without breaking sweat.
Lifestyle wise, I'd say drink lots of water and get a steady sleep pattern. Sleep quality is directly related to weight gain so get a memory foam mattress or a memory foam mattress topper and you should get better quality of sleep, giving you more power and motivation to keep going. Good luck pal, im sure youll meet your goals
