    Yes. PS3 games are region free.

    HOWEVER be aware that not only can some games have online servers that are region locked [if you buy a US game, you will only ever connect to US servers = more lag], you can also end up needing to purchase DLC on that region's store if you want that content.

    Just be wary that there is one region locked game on the PS3. If you are looking to get Persona 4 Arena it won't work. However any other game will work.

    Yep, just to confirm what the others are saying, I have bought many U.S games, never had an issue, buy away :)

    Similar question:

    I've a Vita with Assassin's Creed coming from amazon.com and it has codes for 3 months of Playstation Plus.

    Can these be added to a European PS Network account or do I have to create a US one ?

    A US one I think I have a spare 30 day trail code if you want it.

    I can swap you a 90 day Irish code for the 90 day US one, PM me when you have the code.

    @Eddie Waters - thanks for that.

    @RobbingBandit - thanks for the offer : they are 3 x 1Month trials.

    If I can stick to a European account it might make life easier .

    US one for the US store, Irish one for the Irish store, Uk for the Uk store. I wish there was one store for all regions, so many great games on the US and Asian stores.
