Anyone any advice on where I might get a Kenwood Chef Mixer mended? I think it might need a new motor. Thanks

Did it go "poof" and emit a bit of smoke with a bit of an acrid smell? If so, it may well be just a blown capacitor, which happens fairly often with them I understand. I fixed mine myself a couple of years ago, but a repair wouldn't cost that much, certainly not the cost of a new motor anyway.

Thanks guys, I'll give Kenilworth a try if theres no one nearer. Like to keep my business local if poss. No it didn't give off any smoke, just turning extremely slowly no matter what speed is set.

    Hey Selandia
If you want to keep it local how about trying L Hearn there at the townhall, just beside Credit Union & Terrie Dunne's place.
He'll keep ye talking for a while but is usually handy with household appliances!!
