I'm thinking of getting a Lancer 1.5 INTENSE 08 or 09. I really like the look of them. Has anyone driven one? What are they like and are there any Mitsubishi dealers in Dublin that sells them?

I've driven a few, they're good enough to drive, no ford focus in the handling department but still quite pleasant.
A bit plasticky and noisy inside, similar to a mazda3. Not disgraceful though.

I really like the look of them p, they're a breath of fresh air in a country full of corollas and jettas.

Check carzone for garages that have them.

I'd try and find one outside the Mitsubishi dealer network (if there is such a thing these days) as they tend to be asking less for them. They are a grand car if a little dated compared to rivals though the subtle evo kit looks very nice on them. They are not that popular and the fact they are petrol is a bonus if buying one second hand as they are usually cheaper to buy than other similar sized cars out there.

This is what I'm talking about:

Just check the above type ones thoroughly as they tend to be driven by young lads who think they are an Evo X.

Check out Castlerock motors, north county dublin- just north of Swords - just bought a 08 Intense off them and am very happy with it (although only 1 week old) Ask for Leo or Lorna - he has a couple of 08's still in stock I think

Nice one with leather in castle rock. Bit pricey though

They look decent enough from the outside, but the interiors are so brutal.
