I can't get this to work (Android 4.2), none of my contacts are syncing to my People app. I have the contacts sync box checkmarked under Settings/Facebook.

Is there something else I need to do?

This hasn't worked for a long time. It's a thing between Facebook and Google. With a 'raw' google experience you can't sync with Facebook through the Facebook Account. You need to get something like Haxsync (my preference as it sync's 720x720px pics and crops them square. The latest version also syncs your Facebook profile pics with your google contacts so when you email someone on Gmail, you'll see their profile picture).

I'm on a Galaxy Nexus currently with 4.1.2 (just waiting for 4.2, but have 4.2 on my Nexus 7 and it works fine on there).

I think it's 99cent for Haxsync, but it's worth it if you ask me. I couldn't be without it and the high-res profile pics look great when someone calls.

theres a few apps out there as mentioned.

if you use a third party messaging app then you will need to go through all your contacts to make their photos show up.

its a painful process but I couldn't find any other way.

you use the sync app then go through each contact and edit them , then click on the photo and use the google one.

only way I could find that worked

Cheers. Damn these companies not playing nice with each other.
