Sky Digital Audio

    Evening all,

    Is there a problem with Sky Digital audio at the moment? Most of my HD channels are just playing out in Stereo rather than the normal Dolby D through a Marantz SR5400 AV Surround Receiver.

    Anyone else having the same issue?

    Do you have the receiver hooked up to any other devices, and if so, have you tested the sound with them?

    There is no permanent 5.1audio. It comes on few program's only. Also have you connected it via optical cable.

    is it an amstrad box and does it have the new epg

    Hi folks. Thanks for the info.

    It is an Amstrad box with the new epg. Optical connection to skybox.

    5.1 works fine on the DVD player still.

    I understand that not all programmes are in 5.1 but generally they are in Dolby D. Last night auto was just playing stereo for many of the HD channels. In fairness, this evening most of them seem to be back to normal.
