I'm looking for some advice from any roofers/builders.

We have an ongoing issue around 3 years with a damp stain appearing on a ridge board in the attic. It appears to get worse when it rains then it dries out again. It’s not a big patch around 150mm x 50mm. My concern is it will get worse and eventually leak. Also I’m sure its not great for the timber for it to be getting continually wet, may cause rot eventually. The patch is located right at the top of the ridge board. Only around 300mm fro the apex of the roof, the damp only appears on one side of the ridge board. I have already had the ridge tiles lifted and new felt put down in the affected area. I am wondering if there is any chance this could be condensation as the patch is directly above the attic hatch. I doubt it considering it only occurs during wet periods.

House is only 7 years old and unfortunately the builder won’t do anything and Homebond wont touch anything to do with leaks after 5 years.

It’s a real head scratcher. I'm not sure what to do next to fix. The chap that "fixed" the roof was well recommended to me and I have seen his other work. I witnessed the job he did and I would have thought it would have worked. I'd appreciate any thoughts/advice.
