We went to Thailand in September and were given 2 SIM cards in Chiang Mai airport. We didn't think to bring unlocked phones with us, so couldn't use them :( Anyone heading that part of the world, if you fancy getting a local SIM before leaving, PM and I'll post them to you. Anyone heading that part of the world, if you fancy getting a local SIM before leaving, PM and I'll post them to you. I imagine the same operators would be good in Bangkok as well (can't remember the name now, but can check at home this evening), but they don't give them out at the airport there like they did in Chiang Mai.
