Maybe After Hours is not the right forum for this, but I can't find the Pointless Celebrities one, so here goes:

According to an article in today's Indo, Twink (an entertainer I'm happy to discover is still alive) claims she was kissed and groped by a drunken female RTE star who is, supposedly a "household name".

Entertainer tells how drunk TV star pinned her against wall and kissed her, and later put her hands up her dress

Legendary entertainer Adele King, aka 'Twink', has claimed that a well-known female RTE star made a pass at her.
The 61-year-old performer said the household name "pushed me against the wall and proceeded to kiss me" and later that night put two hands inside her dress.

The article (click on the link below to read it in full) raises a lot more questions than it tells us much.

When did this alleged incident happen?

Why didn't Twink scream to high heaven and have the person who allegedly sexually assaulted her arrested right then and there in the restaurant?

Would she have done so if her assailant had been a man?

Has this "revelation" anything to do with the fact that she is trying to flog a book?

How drunk would anyone need to be to have a go at Twink?

The other night someone said to me "Guess who was on The Late Late Show." I correctly guessed Twink. He said she was going on about being suicidal etc. and I said "Let me guess, she then went on about some fella she rode back in the day."

RTE generally and Twink specifically are hilariously predictable. I still can't find anyone who knows what Twink ever actually did other than appear on TLLS and in newspapers.
