Doing so using board's attachments is not easy, boards.ie is actually set up not to do so, but it can be done anyway.

Much easier is doing that with hotlinking images hosted somewhere else (any free image hosting will be O.K.). I strongly recommend not to embed full-size pictures, bear in mind many of us still have crappy dial-up connnection (yes, really). So thumbnails will be fine.

Now, if you click here, you will see how it looks like - [noparse] [img]http://picture's_address.jpg[/img] (hit the space key here) [img]http://another_picture's_address_here.png[/img] (hit the space again) [img]http://yet_another_address.gif[/img] [/noparse]

Most (if not all) image hosting sites will give you ready-to-paste links, just choose an option named "thumbnail for forum" or "thumbnail BBcode" or something like this.

If you REALLY want to embed attachments uploaded directly to boards.ie, let me know, I'll do my best. ;)

If you're asking so you can show images here in the photography forum then *please* don't post thumbnails.. otherwise, exactly the same process. Pix.ie have a handy resize thing that gives you all the code you need.

Might be a silly question, but why do you want to post images side by side in the first place? People are on so many different screens and devices, there's no way to control how your images are rendered with any real accuracy.
