Hi guys First time poster in need of advice .

Fell inlove with a girl 6 years ago, we went out for nearly two years before finaly parting ways. In the past few years i have seen other girls and had a relationship for nearly a year. But in all that time i cant stop thinking of this girl, she has never left my head and i still feel the loss i felt when we split, we have not spoken in some years but i could contact her any time, i know that may not be the best move but could it help me move on ?, i could be still in love with the girl of six years ago and not who she is today , so should i make contact ? or just work on myself and try new ways to stop thinking of her ?

you never know unless you try. maybe you should contact her and see. it could work out, it could not , but at least you will have explored it either way.

Agreed. At the moment you aren't really dreaming of her - rather you are dreaming of the relationship you might have. I'd have to say the chances of her getting back with you are small but nothing ventured nothing gained. At least if you are met with rejection you'll hopefully stop dreaming, come to accept its over and move on for real. Best of luck ;-)

You should make contact and suss out her relationship status etc. Even if shes no interest she'll still be chuffed you still have feelings for her 6yrs later so no harm done. Always nice to have an admirer
