Any Sky Movies offers for Christmas?

As the title says, has anyone been offered any half price sky movies, or gotten anything in the post? They normally do a half price for 3mths around this time but I haven't seen anything.

3 Months half price movies/sports offer is on now,spotted a letter at the mothers' house during the week.

Not sure if you want sport/movies or just movies. I rang up and asked was there any offers and was told about the half price movies/sport for 3 mths, told them that sport was no good to me cause I dont get time to watch it and was told the offer was only if i got both not just movies, i declined the offer and rang back 5 mins later got a different call centre and asked was there a deal on movies only and was told I could have it half price for 3 mths. So its worth ringing a couple of times. Have 2 reminders set in my phone to switch it off again well in advance of their 31 days notice.

I always ask them what is the final date I need to cancel by to make sure I don't get charged full price!

Any particular number I should ring? Rang the one on my welcome letter and I got through to the Uk call centre I think, English accent anyway, and no, no offers available on movies at the mo. :rolleyes:

Normally i try a couple of times till i get through to the Cork call centre, i find these to be of great help.

I got Sky Movies for €1 a month for 6 months last week while on the phone

I was just on to them and I was told the offer ended last Friday on the 16th. They offered me half price movies for 3 months but I declined.

Had to resort to the old reliable 'put me through to cancellations' trick, but i ended up with movies for 12mths for 13.75, i can cancel at any time and keep the 25% off my original bill amount, so a win win for me!

The 1 euro movies seems to be if you already have sports, you can add movies for a euro, thats what he told me anyway, and we dont have sports and it would have cost E34 to add, so noooooooo way!

I got a letter this morning abot the 1/2 price Sky Sports for 3 months.

Do you reckon i could sway them to let me have it for 6 months ? To get the rest of the football season

I just tried that and they said no. I have sky 6 years and every year i got movies half price for 3 months. Not happy

I got the half price sports/movies for 3 mths one through the door, rang up looking for movies only. Indian guy was insistant nope not a hope. Tried a couple more times and no go so I was like fck it.

Other day I got a half price sports 3mths through the door, I just ignored it.

Went online to my acc on the 17th looking for something else and copped they were saying I could have half price movies 6mths. Thank you pls

has anyone gotten this deal recently, i got a letter in the door and yet when i rang was told no deals at all, even threatened to cancel and still he said no, im thinking off cancelling anyways because having problems with the box and they want 100 to fix
