    Hey,
I'm considering upgrading to windows 8 on my desktop computer, an believe that if I am upgrading to windows 8 a touch screen monitor would be a great idea. So I want to know what monitor I should get or if I should bother at all.
    Thank you.

I'd say 10 minutes after turning it on you'd be well fed up with it.

It'd be slower and your arms be wrecked. Wouldn't bother.

    That's just me.

Probably crazy money to buy aswell.

I'd agree, I've used them a little bit, but it's actually very tiring. The expeience is much better on a tablet, as you don't have to raise your arms.

I still think a regular mouse is better on a regular PC, but check out some of Logitech's touch offerrings. http://www.logitech.com/en-roeu/promotions/win8-landing

They get awfully painful to use, really hurts your arms after a while.
Kevin's link has some interesting alternatives, like the touchpad
