Lidl headunit in Octavia mk1?

Hi, has anyone fitted a Lidl headunit into a mk1 Ostavia? We has one in a previous car and loved having an SD card slot. It sounded pretty decent but the Octavia speakers are better so I would like something as least as good as the Symphony system. Any issues fitting the Lidl unit, does the radio still work as it should without an extra amp, and I hear something about swapping a red and yellow power lead? We could go for a Pioneer system and have it fitted but the cost would double. Thanks for any ideas.

Don't be over-thinking this! Extra amp - why? The Lidl unit is probably 4 x 40 watt. Red and yellow leads - you only need to swap them if you find that the radio is losing the preset stations when you switch the ignition off.
