implants are where the tooth is extracted and then wait for three months to heal then the implant is drilled into your jaw bone(a comfortable procedure) not like it sounds and again a waiting period of up to two months and then they mount the crown onto the implant (basically a false tooth) but looks very real.....vary greatly in price but what you should ask is what are the materials used in the implant ......out of the hundreds available most dentistries recommend about 10
