Possible to Replace Cubic Zirconia on Ring?

Hi there - I've done some searching and not come up with much, and thought if anyone would know, it would be you bunch :)

My partner has a ring which I gave to her as a gift years ago which had a cubic zirconia piece at the centre of it. She was out doing bits and bobs recently and when she got back home realized the CZ piece was missing from the ring. We had a good search around the house, but realistically we're never going to find it. Now the ring didn't cost much to begin with years ago, and could quite easily be replaced with something similar, but it'd be much nicer to replace the stone and keep the same ring as it's quite sentimental. I was sure it'd be easy to find a jewellers or similar to replace it, but can't see it anywhere online.

Is this something that I would be able to find someone to replace? Or failing that, replace myself somehow?

    Thanks in advance!!

I have been in the same situation. I bought a stone off a jewellery shop online. I was able to get my local jeweller to fit it.

Thanks Mia - might give this a go - do you know is it difficult for the jeweller to get it back in?
