    Does anybody remember Brew No1?
It was an Irish beer from the late 90's. Decent beer.

There are several new Irish brewing companies popping up lately. Just wondering if any of these companies originally brewed Brew No1?

Brew No 1 was from the Dublin Brewing Company and was quite a nice refreshing lager with a bit of lemon citrus going for it. Sadly, they closed in early 2005. I don't think anybody took the recipe off Rory but knowing him he has it stored away in his files somewhere for the right day to go at it again.

It wasn't. It was by the Irish Brewing Company in Newbridge. I've heard rumours that the brand's current owners are thinking of bringing it back.

    DBC's lager was called Beckett's.

    Thanks guys for the replies.

That's the one. I was working in that trade back then and we paid a visit to the brewery in Newbridge. The guys were decent and we went home with lots of freebies :D

It would be great to see it make a comeback.
