    I am flying aer lingus regional this afternoon from knock airport and when i was booking the flight i checked in two 15kg bags. But now i only want to check in one bag. what can i do

    Turn up with the single bag and check it in.
    Not sure if you can get a refund the 2nd checked bag fee. I assume the 2nd bag is not travelling, as 15kg is too heavy for cabin baggage.

    What weight is the lone bag?

    Aer lingus's checked in baggage allowance is 20kgs but that's not per bag (unless more than 1 of you is traveling and you book a bag each). Don't forget that's is a total of 20kgs PER PERSON, so if you buy 3 bags, total weight is still 20kgs, not 60kgs in this example.

    Sorry but this doesn't help you in your case (excuse the pun) but it may warn others booking.

    Also, baggage fees are non-refundable, such as fees for selecting your seat on board. You won't get a refund, don't know could you try getting credit to the same value to put towar something else like a future flight etc.
