    Hi,

Could anyone recommend a car for €6k or less? Was thinking of a focus because it should be economical and it looks ok but wondering what other options are out there.

Will be doing about 20,000 kms per year and open to all suggestions. The newer the better

    Thanks

Youre not going to get an answer to such a vague question Im afraid. Narrow down a bit more what you like/need and maybe people will be able to give you some suggestions.

Or if you really have no idea what you want then go onto Donedeal/Carzone and stick in your price range and see what tickles your fancy.

Focus is a good option, but make sure you buy a 1.8tdci......avoid the 1.6tdci.

Have been looking on Carzone and I think I may be going for a Focus. Basically what I need is fairly good economy and would like something that's nice to drive. Wouldn't like something small like a Fiesta.

Also want good reliability so open really to any suggestions that would be reliable, economical and nice to drive.

Thanks for the replies so far

If it was me Id be looking at something like a Civic. Nicer to drive than the likes of a Focus (in my opinion anyway), Honda are generally very reliable and they dont cost the earth to run.

Then again if it was me and I had €6k to spend Id probably be looking at a 2003-2005 Accord, so thats why I say you really need to know what you want!
