    Hi guys.
A complete novice here at paper crafting!
Went to Stitch n Sew recently and bought some plain white ready made cards. Cheat.com!
Want to rustle up a few nice Xmas cards and got some lovely embellishments there this evening.
All I want to do for now til I learn more is to paint the front of the cards a nice rich red colour.
Can anyone advise me further?? Where to buy?? What to buy etc??
    Cheers in advance x

Does it have to be paint? Would you not get a smoother effect with red paper, or red cards to start with? Do you want smooth red or some sort of variation?

If you do want red paint I would suggest gouache or acrylic - the first will give a flat red the other a more shiny effect.

    Thanks for your reply Looksee!
Well tbh I'm a bit technically challenged and while I have a paper cutter I havent used it yet so am thinking just to paint a few Xmas cards for now and see how they turn out and then maybe in the New Year try and find a class where I could learn new skills and in general just nurture my creative streak!
Any hints, tips, ideas etc would be most welcome! ;)
    Thanks again xx
