Bluetooth gone AWOL - where to start?

Yesterday, my factory fit bluetooth stopped working (Audi A5)
The normal message when phone is not connected is 'your phone is not connected'.
Im now getting 'phone not available'.
I ran vagcom and came up with the following on the radio and telephone modules.
    Scan of radio resulted in:

Scan of telephone gave no fault codes but here is some additional info from the phone system.

Also, Ive got an xcarlink installed which by plug and play installation allowed me to add reverse cam and many other inputs to the dash screen. Im wondering if this could have anything to do with it as the phone and all other display functions are passed through it but this has been in the car for a couple of months now with now issues and just yesterday, the phone fault developed. I might undo the xcarlink install as a check but where to go after that?
From other forums, this fault often rights itself after cycling phone on and off etc. Ive done everything I can think of in that regard and also disconnected the car battery for a few mins to see if that helped.
    Any ideas?

I disconnected the xcarlink completely and phone still not available.
