Has he tried talking it to nicely? Stroking it and telling it that everything's going to be okay? Even played a bit of One Direction to it?

More importantly, has he tried plugging it out and back in again?

He must be. I don't suppose you recall any of the list that he gave you ?

He didn't give me a list, just put it back together so it went off to another mechanic today.

No one direction from this new fella yet, do you think he knows what he's doing?

My hubby thinks there is no diesel getting to engine, and he keeps telling me it's a heap of scrap to get rid of, but I refuse to hear that.

C'mon ramp up the sympathy a bit!!

the promise of chocolate and a cuddle always works with my yoke, but I'd say mine would be happy just to be washed (she's v low maintenance, just like her mammy!)

Might be as simple as a fuel pump relay or a lift pump, keep your fingers crossed.

For sympathy, talk to MugMugs he's the huggy one around here :p

    Hahah,

Comparing cars to maintenance of girlfriends:

Mondeo, low maintenance - regular Garage flowers and quarterly date nights:D

Ferrari, High maintenance - Constant love and affection, weekends in Monaco plus a platinum credit card with no limit

Toyota corolla - fat chick who goes out of their way to give you what you want for nothing in return but your loyalty
