Please can you advise me as to the best alternative to The Hooley night at Johnnie Fox's pub? We are looking for something the whole family can enjoy: nice meal, Irish traditional music and dancing. They are booked out for the nights in March that we were looking for (we are a group of 10)! Thank you!

The Merry Ploughboy Pub http://www.mpbpub.com/. Top of Edmonstown Road in Rathfarnham.

Had a few good nights there

The Abbey Tavern in Howth also does what you're looking for. You could give them a shout and see if the nights you want are available.

The Irish House Party does a great show in the Tivoli theatre. There's food beforehand in the house party pub across the road from the theatre. It's a great night.
