Part time JSA claim closed with no notice!

I applied for JSA for the days I was not working two months ago. I gave them all the information they asked for during the first week of my claim. I have been receiving the slips to state which days I was working during the week and sending them back on time but i didn't receive any for this month.
So I rang the social welfare office and they said my claim was closed because the letter I gave them to state I was finished college wasn't the correct one. I was told to bring in different letter asap to start a new claim.

The thing is that when I gave in all my information I wasn't told that the letter wasnt correct and I never got any word asking me to bring in a different letter or any notice to state my claim was closed.
So will I get paid for the last two months of slips or will payment just start for when I put in my new claim??

When you provide the necessary papers you should get back pay.
