Can one sell/gift an idle MC account?

    Hi folks, just wondering what the craic is with maybe selling ones MC account?
    Basically my sons PC has run into HD issues and i dont think ill put the money into it to replace because hes happily playing MC and other games on his xbox360 now.
    This means his MC account is lying idle, i have my own account so the net result is an idle MC account.
    Anyone know what the craic is?
    Can i transfer an account to a different email address to pass on to someone else?
