Shoe size Conversion

I was looking to get a pair of shoes off Forever 21s website, but the sizing is done in US sizes. Now I know they have a guide there, but on that a UK size 6 doesnt equal EU 39, so I dont know which size is more accurate to my size.
A quick google came up with a few different results, from a US 7 to US 8, but I was just wondering has anyone any experience with buying shoes in US sizes before and know an accurate conversion?

Having spent the summer in New York, I can assure you a UK size 6 is a US size 8!

If you do a internet search you will find conversion charts.

US womens shoe sizes are normally 2 sizes bigger. I'm a UK 7 and would be a US 9-9.5

Oh sorry! It's surprising how many people don't do searched before posting.

A bit off topic but I would never buy shoes online as shoes sizes vary so much even with in the same brand.

    No harm done!
And I agree, I try not too but Ive fallen in love with a pair and hopefully if they dont fit I could get to Dublin to return them.
Heres hoping it all works out anyway!!
