Was out on quad bike yday eve bringing in ewes to freshen raddle on ram from a normally 'dry' field...bike was slaloming across the surface water...land drenched here up the 'whest'...whats it like Nationwide?....going to be a long winter as stock walk grass into the ground.

I have a 2wd Honda 350 Quad. Almost got stuck going DOWNHILL yesterday. All land round here at saturation point, rainfall just running off the surface of fields. Iver

It must be blowing itself out on the way down here. Not remarkably wet at all.
Normal enough November weather more wet days than dry ones.

The weather down here hasn't been so bad. Fields are wet, but its the middle of November, so we have to expect that... But we had a good enough Sept and Oct, which saved us I think...

I had a walk of my fields yesterday though, and there is fcuk all grass in them. Getting a bit worried I will be caught for grass come Jan time... :(

Took out my two rams this morning actually, hopefully they have a good job done... :(

An awful lot of fields looking very brown even though we havnt had any frost worth talking about....sheep will need flippers for their feet if things dont improve.

Jaysus If I still had the cows out there would be search and rescue squads out trying to dig them out of the fields!:)

Sun has broken through. Cows gone out an hour late in hope it cleared, hope to get another 12 days outside although may have to house at night in next few days.
