Can anybody recommend a decent crash repair place in that area? I know there are quite a few around but I would like a recommendation from people that have had work carried out.

Car was shunted from behind at lights this morning, hoping it is just surface damage to the rear bumper.

Marty Lane isn't too far from there and I can personally vouch for his work as being excellent.

I had some work done by a guy called Stephen who runs a crash repair garage across from Tesco in Celbridge. Seems to know his stuff and very reasonable. I don't have a number, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to track down if you wanted it. Let me know and I'll see can I find it.

Ditto, haven't personally used Marty but have seen his work up close - top notch.

Got a quote from the guy at Tesco for 1600e, the person that hit me wants a second quote from a garage nominated by them... so this is a pain.

Where do I stand here, I want the work to be a decent standard. Should I just be a dick if I am not happy with their garage and call the insurance company, up to this point I have not.

I would recommend CMC Crash Repairs on the Old Carton Road in Maynooth. Have had the misfortune of needing their services twice, both times they seemed to know their stuff and were quite reasonable.
