I dont know anything about this video but its a bit dramatic and long so it's probably faked considering if its not then its the holy grail of poltergeist videos

the thing that really throws me about it is that the place is plastered with posters saying "I want .." etc etc, and the youtube user is MrIWantDoesGet. This is probably an attempt at a viral video of some kind. Plus the date (halloween) and time (americans reckon 3am is the time for ghosts)

Everything on there is very easily faked. And the cameras handily only show each movement from a point that hides any possible interference. The 'I want' stuff seems to be financial, rather than x files.

yeah, its a bit of a blatant fake. Why did they bother? Some people have too much time on their hands.

There are plenty of people out there who will credulously lap this up and add it to the repository of wishy washy evidence for the paranormal, so that they can point to a huge mountain of it and say "See? Lots of evidence." Just don't think about it too much, or else you'll realise that it's all bad evidence, and that quantity does not compensate for quality.

even so - that alone doesnt mean anyone who claims to have had a poltergeist experience is lying or that such things dont happen - though, I think poltergeists are mainly our minds and certainly not 'spirits' or ;ghosts'. just as weird mind you.

'evidence' is a bad word dave. nothing can be evidence when it comes to the paranormal as the only way of being convinced for sure is to have a personal experience ... and that wouldnt be evidence.

I dont know how they faked it, but if I had to replicate it I would try fishing line and something springloaded that activates as the drawer comes out. Im sure there are even simpler ways I havent thought of. You notice the drawer doesnt go back in. Nothing at all in the video happens and is then reversed or altered. (the chairs move till they hit something, they dont change course at all) Everything can be explained by a hidden person setting something off or pushing from a hidden area. Hell, you can even see the shadow of one of them in a corridor at one point.

watch the captn disillusion vid. you could easily nip in there, put a device into the drawers to blow out the paper and edit yourself out of it.

I think the shadow at 1:40 is a nice touch myself

The video is edited. go to 3:26, it shows camera 16, in the shot are two doors with 6 columns of filers. From the door on the left come 5 filers over and 3 down. Note how square and undistorted the label is. move on to 3:35 and spot the same label, then move on to 3:55 where a filer is thrown open near the same distorted label and files are scattered everywhere. Person edited out perhaps.

Nice catch.

Edit: if you move back and forth between those images there is a shift in resolution in that area along the file cabinets.

Why do so many videos have that green night-vision effect, despite all the lights clearly being on. I'd say it's definitely a promotional/viral video.

The way it's cut is obviously fake. If you made that video properly, you wouldn't cut it so a scene starts as something flys into the air or falls. Or you wouldn't include so many scenes where nothing happens.

Must check Captn Disillusion out.As a near certain fake, mellowb1rd is both a very good actor and trickster! better than the marketing stuff that started thread.
