I don't like FB and I won't be forced into signing up - Spotify can do w/o my services - I've managed thusfar.

You can sign up without connecting a Facebook account. Just choose the "create an account using your e-mail address" option.

Just make a dummy FB account. You don't have to add any friends or give it all your details or even use it.

I signed up via the app no problem and no mention of Facebook along the way. Don't see how so many are having issues with it.

Decent app but it did freeze once on me yesterday.

€10 per month. You get month's free trial and you can register for it via Paypal which makes it easy to cancel before the month is up.

Signed up to Premium 1 month trial via laptop and then logged onto phone (S3) but don't seem to be able to download albums?

Working in a computer data centre tonight so would be good to get some new stuff down as no coverage in there.. or rather some good techno from the 90's:D

Any ideas? Does this relate to what someone was saying that Premium 1 month trial not applicable on the mobile version

Try logging out of FB and maybe clear your cache. I've checked again (just now) and it's there under the logo in Internet Explorer 8.

Thanks for that - hmm I must have done something wrong. I followed the link for the 30 day trial and selected paypal as payment option.

Well the owners of spotify are quite involved in facebook. Sean parker is one of the main guys.

Yup really I don't have a FB account either, I simply used the sign up without FB option, I have managed to then sign in on computer, iPhone and iPad without any issue, maybe I'm just special.

Glad it's finally here officially!

I had a premium account since Jan '09 when Ireland could sign up for the paid version, but weren't allowed the free version. Then suddenly in April '12 they decided that I couldn't be a premium subscriber anymore!

I just renewed my subscription on my existing account, so I don't get a free month
But good news none the less :pac:

48 hour trial expired, decided not to sign up for the further 30 days.

Using it as a radio now, which is quite excellent have to say. The engine they use for song matching to stuff you like is great and seems to be matching the type of music I love.

But its as far as Im taking it, Xbox Music is the same price, but im not limited to playlists and I can play all the music I want at the same time for the same price.

what do you mean by this? you're not limited to playlists with spotify either

In xbox music i just go into the app, press "Play All" and off it goes. All the files ive downloaded of the cloud are being played.

Unless I couldnt find it, I couldnt find an option to play all the music I've downloaded from Spotify, It wouldnt play my existing MP3's on the phone either. I dont know maybe Im missing, but the whole thing is a little bit confusing in the start.

Isn't there a local files tab on the left, that is all the music you have donwloaded?

I love the interface it's the biggest selling point for me. So easy to use.

On the PC yes. Majority of my listening would be done on a phone and that function doesn't seem to be there

Looks like Spotify took my 9.99 for my month's subscription, then refunded it a few a while later!
Guess I got a free month's trial after all
