50%off for Accorclub members, 40% off for general public from Accor brand hotels.
Offer applies to stays between 15th December 2012 and 10th February 2013 while availability lasts.
Booking possible up to 22nd November 2012
    http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/promotion/specials/crazyprices_november.shtml

They have only hotels in dublin and Belfast in Ireland but aside from that have "4,426 hotels ranging from economy to luxury (as of December 2011) on five continents"
If you get a cheapo fare to UK or the continent you could have a very very cheap weekend away indeed in a reasonable enough hotel.

I have a family room in a Novotel got for half price to break up the drive across France at christmas.
In the new Year on the way back I am looking at a Novotel for 39Euro a night in Frankfurt or an Ibis Styles for 51 including breakfast.

Closer to home, the Ibis Dublin is working out at 22euro for the room or maybe a trip to Belfast between xmas and new years for 34euro per room per night?

No, thats a COMPLETELY different subject matter of getting a platinum loyalty card.

My post is about a limited time offer on 50% room rates.

    Same company, different deal.

No, thats a COMPLETELY different subject matter of getting a platinum loyalty card.

My post is about a limited time offer on 50% room rates.

    Same company, different deal.

    Its already on Holidaypirates:

    from:
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2056803937

    And on that page:
Update: Available again! Don’t hesitate to long, registrations are limited. Accor is also running a 50% Sale right now!

;) Cheers though .. I didn't really highlight it, I got 40 euros off for a night in Geneva :)

ok, this offer is now over.
Saved just over 200 euros on a number of nights over christmas between a night in Belfast and a few nights on the continent to break up the drive to and from Ireland.

We needed family rooms seeing as we have 2 kids, so getting half price on 4* Novotels in locations that make sense was a godsend.

it is but unfortunately theres only a handful of their hotels in Ireland.
In the Uk and the continent though its a completely different matter and in Paris alone they have over 100 affordable (and the odd unaffordable) hotels

that sale is over but if you sign up for their loyalty programme then they will send on "private sales" every so often that are on a specific brand or bunch of hotels or whatnot and it can also be great value but is something that you will see here in Bargain alerts as you have your own link that cant be shared publicly.

This is up and running again for stays between 6th July to 1st September (Book by 21st June).

Though it'd be scorching, the Novotel in Sharm for €26 p/n would appeal, assuming you could bag a charter flight for a decent price.

Looks like there's plenty of availability across Spain & Portugal also.

You'll have to register a 'Le Club Accor' account to access the 50% offer, though the rate quoted without doing so (via the link above) is only a fiver more.

Dates I was looking at were July 23rd -Aug 2nd, though I've a feeling flights would prove a sticking point.

Yeah, took a quick look at scheduled & charter flights & it looks prohibitive - not surprising given the proximity to travel.

Sorry - €31 p/n was for single occupancy / €40 double for the dates I posted above (for non-members)

London is dear and there was a good number more hotels with deals on the last sale including what looked like a very handy novotel there at Tower Bridge

Theres still hotels out there for cheap on the continent and elsewhere in Britain.
Maybe the Novotel in Bruges would be a good start. I have 2 nights booked for 50 or 60 euro per night there and very happy with that price.
Also got 3 nights in Reading in the Novotel for about the same price and 2 nights in Southampton. Locations of those right downtown in both places.
Overall I have about 10 nights booked with the offer for our summer spin, all Novotel so a comfy reliable hotel with suitable rooms for the 2adults and 2 kids.

anyhow, only 2 more days till this offer is finished.

    http://cdn.loyaltylobby.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/Accor-Super-Sale-June-2013-Participating-Hotels.pdf

it is free to sign up as a "Le Club Accor Member" by the way

I maybe should have mentioned it a little earlier, but Accor are again offering a sale, but this time a quite disjointed one and its bokable till the 31st october.
Theres a mix of offers like 50% off in France for stays in the next month or so, 50% off for benelux from now till the spring, 2 nights for price of 1 for germany switzerland and austria at the weekend from now till the spring and 40% off asia/ oz/ nz hotels.

unlike a lot offers which promise lots and have shag all availability when you actually look, this one has some serious availability and I'm seeing weekend stays in Nürnberg, Munich or Frankfurt for 20 or 30euro per room per night for half decent ibis hotels in good locations, and marginally more for the more up market hotels. I'm about to book a fairly comfy Novotel in Frankfurt for 40euro/ night for example, and theres a number of 3 and 4 star hotels at that price.

the deals are only bookable through the deal link for the particular region, and the various links are listed here:

Hi munchkin_utd, do you know if you need to sign up to become a member first? I am looking at going to Vienna at the end of November so I am interested in booking something but I have to talk to my sister about which hotel to pick first. As tomorrow is the last day I need to act fast so to speed things up I thought I would check if I need to sign up to anything first.

Rates appear to be the same whether you input your account number or not - it's just that members had access to the offers a little earlier than the general public.

So sign-up's unnecessary to avail of the offers.

the terms and conditions (small link at the botom of the link above) don't require you to be a member
They have had sales in the past which gave more discount to members than non members and some other sales which were only for members but not this time.

Ive just booked 2 nights in Frankfurt for less than 40euro a night in a Novotel for myself, the wife and 2 kids so cant complain!

Yamanoto/Munchkin_Utd, thanks for the replies. I am going to speak to my sister this morning and see if one of their Vienna hotels fit the bill. Hopefully I will be able to nab a bargain too!

The November Super Sale is now on again.
As an accor "le club member" (a loyalty program and similar to say the tesco club card, free to join and free to remain as a member) you can get 40% off & breakfast at more than 2000 Accor affiliated hotels. The discount for non-Le Club Accorhotels members is 30%.
    http://www.accorhotels.com/gb/promotion/specials/crazyprices.shtml

They have hotels in Dublin and Belfast, a good number in UK, loads in Europe especially France, and also hotels worldwide in major cities and resorts in Asia, Australia, USA etc.

The price with 40% off gives you a very attractive rate but the breakfast in a Novotel or the likes can cost 15 to 20euro a head (or more) so youre getting a great deal to have that included too!

oh and good to know is that: "This offer applies to all stays between 15 December 2013 and 12 February 2014" and booking is possible "Between 20 and 29 November 2013, for Le Club Accorhotels members" and "Between 25 and 29 November 2013, for the general public."

just a reminder. There's only a couple of days left on this.

If you combined it with cheap January flights it could be a nice wee break on the continent somewhere for next to nothing.

for another few days Accor hotel group have a private sale with up to 50% off hotels around the world for stays in the next few months.
as far as I can see that only means that the sale can only be accessed through the special link.

I'm a great fan of these sales and got a family room in a Novotel in Frankfurt for just under €40 over christmas, and a few days in the middle of Bruges for only a few euro more per night for the summer holidays!

Heres the run down of the various countries and dates of stay, and link to book the cheap rooms.
