    Guys,
Just wondering if anyone knows of any problems with the ABS in a 09 Honda Accord ?

A month ago the rear brakes started noising and when i checked them, the pads were almost worn away. I got a new set installed but within 3 weeks they were almost gone again !! I also noticed that the calipers were over-heating....

My mechanic has checked them throughly and cant find any specific issue with them, his conclusion is that the ABS must be faulty, just wondering if anyone has come across this issue before ?

Faulty ABS? That only kicks in when you lock up. Why would that be an issue?

I presume the wheels are covered in brake dust compared to the front wheels?

Was the car a UK import?

Could be sticking calipers or a problem with the handbrake release. Neither are big issues to sort out. ABS could be a mega pain.

The car drives the best, no issues, there are no lockups or anything like that.....

Yes i think there is quite a bit of dust on the rear compared to the front and the car was a UK import....

As far as i aware the mechanic has throughly checked the calipers and handbrake, turns them on and checks if they release and he cant see any issues with either........
